The message of using new media for social good rang loud and clear at Social Good Summit on September 22–24, 2012, at 92 Y in Manhattan. Sponsored by Mashable, the United Nations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the event hosted leaders in politics, entertainment, tech and entrepreneurship to talk about issues ranging from women’s rights to socioeconomics.
